“I started payroll giving 20 years ago, beginning with $1.00 from each paycheck. My inspiration is my Dad, who lost his battle with cancer in 2008. He spent his final days in the Palliative Care Unit at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, which received funding from the United Way of Vancouver Island—the charity I was supporting. This year, I will continue to give to The Full Cupboard and BC Cancer Foundation through payroll giving. I invite you to join me; together, we can make a significant impact.”
