Enderby charities set to benefit from $35K in grants
The First West Foundation, through its Enderby Financial Community Endowment, is granting $35,000 to four deserving charities in the Enderby area this year.
Funds will directly support community-based projects addressing youth-based programming, seniors support services, community education and literacy and community services for at-risk populations.
Created as a legacy gift, Enderby & District Financial established a charitable endowment to generate ongoing funding in support of the community.
Since 2014, the endowment has provided 40 grants totaling $249,654 to charities in the region. The Enderby & District Financial Community Endowment proudly supports Enderby and Area F of the North Okanagan district.
