2025 Grantees
$1.1M and 81 Grants Land in Communities across Envision Financial region
First West Foundation is proud to announce an investment of $1,145,903 to 81 charitable organizations in communities served by Envision Financial, Enderby & District Financial, Island Savings and Valley First, divisions of First West Credit Union. The investment represents a variety of funding streams including impact grants, capacity grants, SOAR grants, multi-year commitments and named endowment recipients.
Throughout the Fall, the Foundation will release an additional $1,094,896 in funding to charities through several named endowments and its four regional community endowments.
2025 marks a milestone year for First West Foundation, as the Board of Directors approved a 12% disbursement rate, 7% higher than the CRA’s minimum 5%, the equivalent increase of $1,283,068 for a total 2025 disbursement, through 18 named endowments of $2,278,326.
