$414K and 26 Grants Land in Communities across Envision Financial region

First West Foundation, through the Envision Financial Community Endowment, is pleased to announce our 2024 grant recipients, as $414,000 is shared with 26 worthy charities across the Envision Financial region through a variety of funding streams: impact grants, capacity grants, SOAR grants and multi-year commitments. 

Through the lens of trust-based philanthropy, impact grants are unrestricted, investing in an organization’s operations, programs, projects or services and include alignment to one of First West Foundation’s six identified Sustainable Development Goals (1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 17).

Trust based philanthropy is making a real difference in First West Foundation’s granting practices through the Envision Financial Community Endowment.

As the largest and founding endowment, the Envision Financial Community Endowment has provided 591 grants totalling $7,516,730 to charities across the region, since 1998. The Envision Financial Community Endowment proudly supports communities throughout the Fraser Valley and in Kitimat.
