Impact in Enderby with $37K in Community Grants

First West Foundation, through the Enderby Financial Community Endowment, is granting $37,000 to four worthy charities in Enderby and Area F of the North Okanagan this year.

Through the lens of trust-based philanthropy, these impact grants are unrestricted, investing in an organization’s operations, programs, projects or services and include alignment to one of First West Foundation’s six identified Sustainable Development Goals (1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 17). 

Trust based philanthropy is making a real difference in First West Foundation’s granting practices through the Enderby Financial Community Endowment.

Created as a legacy gift in 2013, Enderby & District Financial established the Enderby Financial Community Endowment to generate ongoing funding in support of the community. 

Since 2014, the endowment has provided 55 grants totaling $378,524 to charities in the region. The Enderby Financial Community Endowment proudly supports Enderby and Area F of the North Okanagan district.
