Applications for projects supporting the funding focus areas will be considered using the following criteria:

  • Projects should benefit the community of Enderby or communities in Area F of the North Okanagan Regional District.
  • Preference is given to projects that build community capacity. For instance, programs which help individuals and families learn new skills and abilities.
  • It is preferred that the requesting organization should be contributing toward some of the project costs or should be raising funds from other sources, as the Foundation's role is one of partnership.
  • Projects should benefit many and offer equal and open access.
  • Proposals should be for clearly presented specific projects or programs.
  • Funding is available for faith-based organizations so long as the requested project is for general community benefit.
  • Funding is available to federally-registered charities and "qualified donees" as described by the CRA.
