Envision Financial Community Endowment Grants

Funding available for charities serving the communities where Envision Financial operates: Delta, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Mission, Maple Ridge, Coquitlam and Kitimat. Funding focus is on Promoting Resilient and Resourceful Communities.   Charities may also apply for organizational development and capital funding needs.

Island Savings Community Endowment

This endowment supports projects for communities served by Island Savings including: Brentwood Bay, Chemainus, Duncan, Ladysmith, Lake Cowichan, Mill Bay, Nanaimo, Victoria, Pender Isl. and Salt Spring Isl. The funding focus for grants is Promoting Resilient and Sustainable Island Communities. More specifically, funding will be available for programming that improves people’s capacity and ability to care for themselves and their families; to learn new skills and become resilient in the face of change and challenge; and to become resourceful and self-sufficient. The fund will also support charitable programming that enhances environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Valley First Community Endowment Grants

Funding available for charities serving the communities where Valley First operates including: Armstrong, Kamloops, Kelowna and West Kelowna, Keremeos, Lumby, Oliver, Peachland, Penticton, Princeton, and Vernon. The funding focus for grants from this fund is Creating Resilient and Resourceful Communities (with a primary focus on projects enhancing food security but excluding funding for food banks).

Enderby Financial Community Endowment Grants

Funding available for charities serving Enderby or Area "F" of the North Okanagan Regional District. Grants are made to a variety of community projects including: youth-based programming, enhancing community education and literacy, community services for at-risk populations (e.g., at-risk of hunger, abuse, neglect, homelessness, etc.) and seniors support services.

First West Credit Union Leaders Fund

This endowment supports initiatives that advance capacity building and development opportunities within First West Credit Union communities and includes supporting community efforts, education and professional training, along with other programs that positively contribute to strengthening our communities. In its inaugural year, the Leaders fund ensured that 18 local non-profit organizations received a bursary to attend the AFP Vancouver 2017 Fraser Valley Summit: Greater Things!

Frank Jamieson Memorial High School Curling Bursary

Provides an annual award to a graduating high school student. Preference is given to students who are are also actively involved in curling. Applications are made directly to the Chilliwack Curling Club and the Club selects the recipient of the award. Please contact theChilliwack Curling Club for further information on applying for the bursary.
