What are you passionate about in your community?

What would it mean to you to make a lasting difference for that cause, long into the future?

You can realize your charitable goals by designating a donation in your will to the First West Foundation. This donation will become an enduring endowment that generates funding for your cause in perpetuity. It's simple, it's safe, and because the First West Foundation receives administrative funding from First West Credit Union, it's inexpensive - more of your donation will help support the community cause you're passionate about.

Your donation can be a specific dollar amount, securities, or a piece of property. Alternately, the donation can be a residual bequest where you donate all or a portion of your estate to the Foundation after all your debts, taxes, expenses, and other bequests have been distributed.

To make a donation in your will, simply ask your lawyer to add a codicil to your existing will using our standard will clauses. A codicil is a relatively easy and inexpensive way to plan your future gift.

You may choose to designate your donation to a specific charity, program or initiative. Be confident that your gift is properly designated, call us for assistance.
